The Institute of Advanced Legal Skills is an independent, non-government organization, based in Poland and committed to developing professional and high-quality programs for the training of legal skills. The philosophy of the Institute is the belief that an interdisciplinary and totally practical approach to legal education is crucial to developing the skills base of legal practitioners in 21st Century Europe. Our activities increase knowledge and develop tools to support legal professionals, as well as supporting cross-cultural dialogue between practitioners throughout the many different legal systems of Europe.

Practical Law Academy 2017-2019

The Practical Law Academy is an EU co-funded project focused on teaching skills and the application of EU law to lawyers and judges in several EU Member States. To find out more about  the Academy, click here for more information.

Advocacy Academy 2015-2017

The Advocacy Academy was a series of advocacy training programs for junior and newly qualified legal practitioners, that took place as part of an EU co-funded project between 2015 and 2017. Trainings were totally interactive and provided by practising English-qualified barristers and legal experts.

Qualified Lawyers Transfer Scheme

The QLTS is an assessment available to qualified lawyers from around the world who wish qualify as a Solicitor in England and Wales. The requirements of the assessment are available by clicking on this link.

Law Clinic

The law Clinic gives law students the opportunity to use their knowledge and skills to assist EU citizens with registering their residence in Poland and gives EU citizens the opportunity to receive invaluable assistance with the complicated requirements of regularising their stay in Poland.
